UK-based award-winning fine jewellery designer, Flora Bhattachary launched her latest collection as part of the fine jewellery presentation curated by La Maison Couture, a contemporary fine jewellery boutique, for The Maiyet Collective, the concept store that promises to curate ethical brands from around the world – all sharing a vision of sustainable luxury.

Flora’s Mor collection is inspired by Saraswati, the Hindu goddess of learning and wisdom. Mor (peacock) lends a fresh interpretation to the elegant bird that symbolises inner wisdom over external beauty. The collection is crafted with recycled and conflict-free gold and set with stones that are carefully chosen from ethical sources and traceable mines wherever possible.

Featuring boldly crafted cocktail rings, drop earrings and pendants made with sustainably sourced Tahitian pearls, Australian opals and conflict-free diamonds, the collection, ranging from £900 to £4,000, balances a beautiful blend of traditional craftsmanship, responsible sourcing and innovative design.
