My experience of working with Mamta Malhotra has been satisfying since the work has been done with sensitivity and care,” said Sayed Haider Raza.
On the launch of Illumination, Mamta Malhotra, said, “Raza Saheb has been a mentor to me, guiding me with his vision and wisdom, but even more, has shaped and deepened my understanding of art, aesthetics, form and more importantly, of life. REVOLUTIONARY LEAP

Bollywood sensation Vidut Jamwal recently launched Citizen’s latest Promaster collection in India at the Palladium Hotel in Mumbai. Katsusuke Tokura, managing director, Citizen Watches (India) Pvt. Ltd., said, “In this fast-changing world, time is always a constraint, especially if it’s about innovation and technological advances. Citizen’s Eco-Drive Satellite Wave – Air, the fastest satellite synchronised watch in the world, is not only superior in design and the state-of-the-art technology, but is also highly desirable. The Eco-Drive Altichron extends the model’s legendary altimeter performance and elevates the multi-functionality even higher. Both the watches have enhanced performance with newer technologies and provocative designs.” The Eco-Drive Satellite Wave – Air watch receives time signals from navigation satellites. It engages atomic clocks of the closest orbital satellites circling the Earth from about 20,000 kilometres above, and beams signals directly back to your watch no matter where one is. The Eco-Drive Altichron offers dual-sensor altimeter, electronic compass and unprecedented operational range from 300 metres below sea-level to an astonishing 10,000 metres in the atmosphere and can display the precise measurement of depth, height or direction at the single push of a button.

AN UNBREAKABLE PROMISE

Actor Jacqueline Fernandez and Forevermark India’s president Sachin Jain unveiled British fashion designer Gareth Pugh’s first fine jewellery piece in collaboration with Forevermark at the Palladium Hotel in Mumbai.
The necklace set in steel and encrusted with over 100 Forevermark diamonds along with 5,500 diamonds totalling 91.98 carats was brought to life with cutting-edge digital mapping and 3D technology. A part of Forevermark’s Promise Campaign, Gareth was inspired by his trip to the Orapa diamond mine in Botswana, where he came to understand the incredible story behind each Forevermark diamond. One part of the operation that he found particularly compelling was the alliance between age-old craft and advanced technology; Pugh immediately knew that he wanted that relationship to be part of the story of this piece.
At the launch Pugh explained, “The inspiration behind the neckpiece comes from my idea of what a promise is – an unbreakable bond. Coming back to Forevermark, it’s about the reciprocal relationship that they have with the communities they support. It’s not about taking, it’s about giving something back. The piece closes with a titanium pin which is set with a diamond on the top. I really liked the idea of using that as a signifier of an unbreakable bond.”
