Revisting Art Deco

Capturing the vibes of Art Deco, Lalique’s spring-summer 2019 jewellery collection Style 1925 borrows ideas from the culture of the 1920s. The collection is named after the year of the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris that enshrined the predominant decorative art style, including the geometric and striated motifs.

These casual-chic gold jewels feature clear satin-finished crystal or coloured glossy crystal: Cap Ferrat blue crystal on silver-plated or grey crystal on goldplated. On the rings, earrings and bracelets, the motif plays a mix and match with a black resin cabochon for a retro look.

The long necklace and the electric blue bracelet are statement pieces in this collection. The jewels imbue the wearer with a sense of modernity.
